Mohammed Hmeid

In his role as Head of Marketing for Omniyat Properties, Hmeid is responsible for Managing a projects portfolio with a total value of over AED 21 Billion in residential, commercial and mixed-used properties across Dubai and managing the overall marketing process from product conceptualization, research & planning, sales & marketing strategy and execution to agency recruitment, management and CRM.
Hmeid Started his Marketing career in 1994 in client servicing; he then moved to the United States and founded Voice of the East “VOTE” in Houston, Texas; the first and only Arabic Radio program in Texas. Simultaneously he also established a media buying house for the minority-media.
In 2004 Hmeid worked with British American Tobacco BAT as a Regional Brand Manager where he managed an extensive brand portfolio, including established & new brands.
Prior to joining Omniyat Properties Mohammed Hmeid had a diverse experience in the automotive industry where he worked for BMW Group and General Motors. In his role with BMW, Hmeid was the Group Brand Manager and the Deputy Marketing Manager for BMW regionally where he provided strategic and operational marketing guidance for BMW Group, in addition to developing and launching new dealerships in emerging markets such as India, Pakistan and Iran. In 2006 Mohammed joined General Motors as a Director for Premium Brands where he managed a diverse product portfolio and was directly responsible for the sales, marketing and after-sales of Cadillac, Hummer and Saab in the Middle East.
