Miss. Zafar, a British national, brings over 10 years of local and regional corporate experience to her role as Vice President Legal. She is responsible for all real estate development matters, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, investments, new business ventures and is involved in all corporate, commercial and investment affairs for both Omniyat Holdings and Omniyat Properties.
Miss. Zafar, a UK qualified Solicitor has extensive high court litigation, corporate finance, mergers and acquisition experience obtained whilst working in the City of London for clients such as the Ruling families of Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, Aga Khan Foundation, High Net Worth Individuals and a number of International financial institutions. She was appointed as the Sole Legal In-house Counsel to the Engineers Office of HRH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum whereby she was responsible for many prestigious personal and commercial real estate projects together with his investment and corporate activities. She was then appointed as Senior Legal Counsel for Global Operations and Investments which was owned by H.E. Sheikh Butti Al Maktoum and a consortium of Saudi Investors where she handled all corporate investments and affairs for the consortium both regionally and in Europe and handled their real estate projects in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
