At an exceptionally young age, Mehdi exhibited a deep interest in the trading activities of the family business that had been nurtured over three generations. In 1995, he started Al Masa computers, his first small business in Dubai, marking the beginning of his distinguished commercial success. Through his vision, passion and ability to orchestrate all resources to make it happen, Amjad was able to grow this small shop into a major IT regional conglomerate with a distribution network covering MENA & CIS countries & US$450M annual turnover in 2006.
His outstanding technical and managerial achievements contributed to the accelerated growth of this Omniyat to become a major private developer with a unique focus on intelligent buildings. From inception Omniyat’s focus was the development of iconic projects and creating different experiences that touch people’s lives and expectations expect from their future homes & offices.
